Ingredients For This Strawberry Lemonade
Here’s everything you’ll need to make this easy strawberry lemonade – consider it your grocery list!
- Fresh strawberries
- Lemons: You’ll need both lemon juice and zest. I love using Meyer lemons as the zest tastes infinitely better than other lemon varieties.
- Honey: Feel free to substitute the honey for maple syrup to make this recipe vegan-friendly.
- Kosher salt or Celtic sea salt
- Water: Duh!
A Few Quick Notes
- Feel free to substitute the honey for maple syrup to make this recipe vegan-friendly.
- Use a fine mesh sieve or a nut milk bag to strain the lemonade. Otherwise, your lemonade will have gritty bits of strawberry seeds throughout. Both a fine mesh sieve and a nut milk bag work well, so use whatever you prefer.
- Play around with this recipe and use it as a base for other fun lemonade flavors. You can substitute the strawberries for other summer berries like raspberries or blueberries!
- Speaking of flavors, you can easily make watermelon lemonade following this same method and recipe. Simply replace the strawberries with watermelon cubes. Pro tip, mix half of the watermelon lemonade with sparkling water or club soda and throw in some chopped mint. Tastes absolutely amazing and makes this fruity lemonade taste more like a mocktail

Description
This summer strawberry lemonade is a combo of fresh summer strawberries and honey balanced out with zingy lemon juice and zest. Need I say more – it’s the ultimate summer drink!
Ingredients
- 2 cups (460 ml) water*
- 2 cups (300 g) chopped fresh strawberries (about 15 strawberries)
- 1/2 cup (115 ml) lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1/3 cup (95 g) honey
- 2 lemons worth of zest
- 1/8 tsp kosher salt or celtic sea salt
Instructions
- Prep the strawberries. Make sure to thoroughly wash the strawberries before using.
- Blend the ingredients. Add all of the ingredients into a high-powered blender (add the honey last so it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the blender) and turn on low. After 30 seconds, ramp the speed up to medium-high and continue blending for an additional 1 minute and 30 seconds – the lemonade will look super frothy.
- Strain and chill the lemonade. Place a nut milk bag or fine mesh sieve over a large pitcher or bowl with a spout and pour in the strawberry lemonade. Strain the lemonade into the bowl, then pour the strained lemonade into a sealable bottle or jar. Chill the lemonade in the fridge for 1-2 hours until cold, or you can pour it over ice and serve immediately.
- Store the lemonade in the fridge for up to 4 days.
Notes
*Instead of using water, you can use coconut water for an extra refreshing and nutritious lemonade.

I’ve made this wonderful drink several times now and it’s so great. Not going to lie, my fave is definitely strawberry one but this one is a close second, it’s so fresh, right for the summer.
I’ve also made a slight change last night, I added white rum and that was a big game changer. I’ll definitely make this again and again
