Summer Berry Smash Mocktail Ingredients
Here’s everything you’ll need to make this berry smash mocktail. As always, the full recipe with detailed instructions is in the recipe card below.
- SAMBAZON Açaà Juice: Love this juice from SAMBAZON as it’s easy to add to lemonade or mocktails for added flavor. Plus it’s organic and non-GMO. Expanding more on açaà and its associated health benefits below.
- Limes
- Blueberries: Both fresh and frozen blueberries work, but fresh blueberries will be easier to work with.
- Honey: Anytime I’m using honey I try to opt for honey from a local farm to ensure it’s sustainably harvested.
- Kosher salt: A pinch of salt really helps enhance the natural flavors of the blueberries.
- Sparkling water or club soda

Tips and Tricks for This Summer Berry Mocktail
- Swap out the blueberries for blackberries. This mixed berry mocktail tastes equally amazing with either blueberries or blackberries.
- Let the blueberries sit in the lemon and salt mixture for 5 minutes to deepen the flavor. The salt will naturally draw out the excess water from the blueberries (this process is called osmosis), adding even more flavor to the mocktail.
- Add more açaà juice if you want a deeper flavor. I opted to use ¼ cup of SAMBAZON Açaà Juice, but feel free to use an extra 2-3 tbsp of juice if you want a deeper berry flavor.
- Rim the glass with sugar (I opted for coconut sugar to keep it refined sugar-free) and lime zest. Simply sprinkle some sugar down on a plate and zest a lime over top. Rub a lime wedge over the edge and side of your glass and roll in the plate of sugar. And voila, you have a super fancy mocktail!
- Add some lime wedges, blueberries, and finely minced mint to the finished mocktail. Not only does it look good, but it also adds extra flavor to this blueberry açaà mocktail.

What is Acai + Health BenefitsÂ
Açaà is a small purple berry that is native to the Amazon region. It offers antioxidants and healthy omegas, so it’s commonly referred to as a superfruit.
And if you’re thinking açaà is a sweet sugary fruit, think again. Because this fruit is actually primarily fat, and loaded with healthy omega-rich fats and fiber. Linking a wonderful resource here if you want to learn more about açaÃ.
