Description

This bowl is a mix of creamy bananas, cacao nibs and chocolate chips that replicate the texture and flavors of classic cookies and cream ice cream. But like WAY healthier obviously!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 frozen Bananas
  • ½ cup Cashew milk
  • 1 scoop Vanilla protein powder
  • 2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • ⅛ tsp Pink Himalayan Salt
  • 3 tbsp Cacao nibs OR Chocolate chips ((I like using Hu chocolate chips since they're sweetened with date sugar. Use code MUNCHING for 15% OFF. ))

Instructions

  1. Begin by adding the bananas, cashew milk, vanilla protein powder, salt and vanilla into a blender. Start the blender on low, ramping up the speed to medium. Use a tamper for this as it will help the mixture blend evenly and pop any air pockets. If you need to, add additional milk to get the blender running.
  2. Once smoothie is halfway blended, add in the cacao nibs/chocolate chips and continue to blend until the smoothie bowl is thick, super creamy and well blended. One tip to know if the smoothie is blended enough, is that the color will change from a yellow banana color, to an off-white color.
  3. Pop the smoothie into a bowl, top with sunflower butter, more cacao nibs and enjoy.
