Description

Think creamy vanilla oats topped with a layer of cinnamon sugar and cold creamy milk.


Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup Rolled oats
  • ½ scoop Vanilla protein powder ((optional))
  • 1 tbsp Sunflower butter or nut butter of choice
  • ½ cup Cashew milk + ½ cup Water ((use more water if needed))
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • Pinch of Salt

Cinnamon Sugar

  • 1 tbsp Coconut sugar ((sub with monk fruit sugar))
  • 1 tsp Ceylon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Begin by adding in the quick oats, protein powder, sunflower butter, cashew milk and water, vanilla extract and salt into a pot. Bring the mixture to a boil stirring frequently, then cover with a lid and let simmer on low heat for 5 minutes until the oatmeal is thick.
  2. While the oatmeal is cooking make the cinnamon sugar mixture by simply mixing together the coconut sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  3. When the oatmeal is done, pop the oats into your bowl. Pour a generous dash of cold cashew milk on top of the oats, followed by the cinnamon sugar mixture. Enjoy!
