Description

Modeled off Starbucks’ mango dragon fruit lemonade, this drink is a combo of fresh mango, frozen dragon fruit, lots of lemon juice and zest for added flavor, and a hint of honey. It’s like the tropics in a cup!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups water*
  • 1 cup frozen dragon fruit
  • 1/2 cup chopped mango
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 lemons worth of zest
  • 1/8 tsp kosher salt or celtic sea salt

Instructions

  1. Blend the ingredients. Add all of the ingredients into a high-powered blender (add the honey last so it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the blender) and turn on low. After 30 seconds, ramp the speed up to medium-high and continue blending for an additional 1 minute and 30 seconds – the lemonade will look frothy.
  2. Strain and chill the lemonade. Place a nut milk bag or fine mesh sieve over a large pitcher or bowl with a spout and pour in the dragon fruit lemonade. Squeeze and strain the lemonade into the bowl, then pour the strained lemonade into a glass bottle or jar. Chill the lemonade in the fridge for 1-2 hours until cold, or you can pour it over ice and serve immediately.
  3. Store the lemonade in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Notes

*Feel free to add more water as needed, depending on how strong you like your lemonade. I like my lemonade super strong, but feel free to add an additional 1/2 cup to 1 cup of water if you like it lighter in flavor!!
