I’ve been on a lemonade kick these past few weeks, and lately, I’ve been loving this dragon fruit lemonade, aka dragonade.
Modeled off Starbucks’ mango dragon fruit lemonade, this drink is a combo of fresh mango, frozen dragon fruit, lots of lemon juice and zest for added flavor, and a hint of honey. It’s like the tropics in a cup!

Ingredients You’ll Need For This Dragon Fruit Lemonade
Here’s everything you’ll need for this dragon fruit lemonade recipe!
- Fresh mango: I like using champagne mangos, they’re the sweetest!
- Frozen pink dragon fruit: I love Pitaya Foods frozen dragon fruit – it’s organic and non-GMO.
- Lemons: Duh! You’ll need both lemon juice and lemon zest.
- Honey
- Kosher salt or Celtic sea salt
A Few Quick Notes
- Feel free to swap in maple syrup for the honey to make this recipe vegan-friendly.
- Use a fine mesh sieve or a nut milk bag to strain the lemonade. Otherwise, your lemonade will have gritty bits of dragon fruit seeds throughout. Both a fine mesh sieve and a nut milk bag work well, so use whatever you have on hand.
- Play around with this recipe and swap out the mango for other tropical fruits like pineapple or passion fruit (Pitaya Foods sells frozen passion fruit which is so much easier than using fresh passion fruit).
- Feel free to add more water as needed, depending on how strong you like your lemonade. I like my lemonade super strong, but feel free to add an additional 1/2 cup to 1 cup of water if you like it lighter in flavor!!
So excited for you to make this dragon fruit lemonade!! After you make this version, try out this strawberry lemonade next, it’s phenomenal!

Description
Modeled off Starbucks’ mango dragon fruit lemonade, this drink is a combo of fresh mango, frozen dragon fruit, lots of lemon juice and zest for added flavor, and a hint of honey. It’s like the tropics in a cup!
Ingredients
- 2 cups water*
- 1 cup frozen dragon fruit
- 1/2 cup chopped mango
- 1/2 cup lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 lemons worth of zest
- 1/8 tsp kosher salt or celtic sea salt
Instructions
- Blend the ingredients. Add all of the ingredients into a high-powered blender (add the honey last so it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the blender) and turn on low. After 30 seconds, ramp the speed up to medium-high and continue blending for an additional 1 minute and 30 seconds – the lemonade will look frothy.
- Strain and chill the lemonade. Place a nut milk bag or fine mesh sieve over a large pitcher or bowl with a spout and pour in the dragon fruit lemonade. Squeeze and strain the lemonade into the bowl, then pour the strained lemonade into a glass bottle or jar. Chill the lemonade in the fridge for 1-2 hours until cold, or you can pour it over ice and serve immediately.
- Store the lemonade in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Notes
*Feel free to add more water as needed, depending on how strong you like your lemonade. I like my lemonade super strong, but feel free to add an additional 1/2 cup to 1 cup of water if you like it lighter in flavor!!
