This blueberry smoothie is an absolute dream. Thick and creamy from the bananas, plus a good hit of chocolate and protein makes this the perfect quick breakfast or snack. Plus Ellie’s Best spirulina bumps up the nutrition factor and gives it such a pretty purple-blue color,

Little tip if you want to make even more indulgent is to add a tablespoon of nut butter; it seriously makes it incredible, trust me.

  • Prep Time: 5 minutes
  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 0 people 1x
  • Category: Breakfast, Snack
  • Cuisine: American

Ingredients

Scale
  • A few Ice cubes
  • 1 ½ frozen Bananas
  • ⅓ cup Plant milk
  • ½ cup Frozen blueberries
  • ½ scoop Vanilla protein powder
  • 1 Tbsp Cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp Ellies Best Blue Spirulina powder
  • Sweetener if needed ((I like using stevia) )

Instructions

  1. Add all of the ingredients into a blender and bend on medium to high speed until thick and creamy. You may have to stop and scrape down the sides of the blender a few times, but don't add any more milk as it will make the smoothie watery rather than creamy.
